Una nueva edición del GENDER SUMMIT 22 se llevará a cabo de manera virtual y con inscripción libre y gratuita, los días 28, 31 de octubre y 1 de noviembre por la plataforma Meetyoo.

El eje de análisis y discusión de la Cumbre serán las desigualdades sociales y de género en el contexto social y económico actual, en particular, las brechas de género y los sesgos en el conocimiento, en áreas emergentes de investigación e innovación y en el reconocimiento de la importancia de la diversidad y la inclusión para lograr la excelencia científica.

Nuestra Cátedra Regional UNESCO Mujer, Ciencia y Tecnología en América Latina estará participando mediante un stand virtual que podrán visitar para conocer las recientes actividades y proyectos en las que estamos trabajando.

Destacamos dentro del evento la actividad Paralela 1:  «El proyecto INSPIRE de Horizon Europe» del European Centre of Excellence on Inclusive Gender Equality in Research and Innovation a cargo de Rachel Palmén y Jörg Müller (Instituto Interdisciplinario de Internet, Barcelona), que tendrá lugar el 31 de octubre de 15.00 a 16.45 horas (CET).

Esta será una instancia para conocer los lineamientos del nuevo proyecto INSPIRE del cual participa nuestra Cátedra UNESCO, coordinando el trabajo de investigación y formación para la región de América Latina.

The Summit will focus on the analysis and discussion of social and gender inequalities in the current social and economic context, in particular, gender gaps and biases in knowledge, in emerging areas of research and innovation and in the recognition of the importance of diversity and inclusion to achieve scientific excellence.

Our UNESCO Regional Chair Women, Science and Technology in Latin America will be participating in this event through a virtual stand that you can visit to learn about the recent activities and projects we are working on.

We highlight the Parallel 1: «The Horizon Europe INSPIRE project» of the European Centre of Excellence on Inclusive Gender Equality in Research and Innovation by Rachel Palmén and Jörg Müller (Interdisciplinary Internet Institute, Barcelona), on October 31 from 15.00 to 16.45 hours (CET).

This will be the opportunity to learn about the INSPIRE project, in which our UNESCO Chair participates, coordinating the research and education activities for Latin American.
