The authors address the challenges of a full citizenship from different perspectives, in which women’s rights to informed, equal and responsible social and political participation are respected.
The nodal point of the book is the discussion of the interrelationships between gender equality, the strengthening of democratic life and the exercise of full citizenship. It also reviews the mechanisms of social and political participation, as well as the capacity for real action that women have to face the difficulties of exclusion in a society that hinders their daily life and social and political fulfillment.
