UNESCO made official the incorporation of six new Chairs to the UNITWIN Network on Gender Equality, coordinated by the UNESCO Regional Chair Women, Science and Technology in Latin America, based at FLACSO Argentina. Thus, there are now 16 Chairs from different parts of the world that are part of this network, whose plans and objectives are framed within the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Program.
We are grateful for the commitment of the new member UNESCO Chairs to continue contributing to the production and dissemination of knowledge in various areas that are affected by the gender issue. And, in this way, to continue contributing to the implementation of innovative practices and policies in the field of gender studies.
