UNESCO Chair
Gender Equality at Higher Education Institutions
We are pleased to share great news with you: the UNESCO Chair on Gender Equality at Higher Education Institutions, Pontificia Universidad Católica (Pontifical Catholic University) of Peru, has become a member of the Global Network of UNESCO Chairs on Gender.
It was set up a few weeks ago in Lima and is headed by Patricia Ruiz Bravo.
Its purpose is to promote equality in academic education and in the work of teachers and researchers, by carrying out studies and raising awareness among university students and staff on the inequalities faced by women.
