The much-delayed 20th Gender Summit – LAC will take place on 15-23rd September 2021 as a virtual event.
The programme includes welcome addresses from influential science leaders, four keynotes from leading experts, 11 plenary sessions with 80 prominent expert speakers, several break-out sessions, and poster presentations.
GS20-LAC is led by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), Inter-America Development Bank (IDAB), the British Council and British Embassy in Brazil, Elsevier, and the German Research Foundation (DFG). Deadline for submitting Abstracts is 15 August, template instructions are on the GS20 website. The event will be delivered in English with simultaneous interpretation into Spanish and Portuguese.

Horizon Europe sets gender equality as a crosscutting principle and aims to eliminate gender inequality intersecting socio-economic inequalities throughout research and innovation systems, including by addressing unconscious bias and systemic structural barriers.
